Stage 2 Water Restrictions are now in place
The following water restrictions apply in metropolitan Melbourne from 1 November 2006.



* Alternate days means odd numbered houses can water on odd dates of the month and even numbered houses can water on even numbered dates.

Currently Melbourne is facing quite severe drought. With the coming state elections at the end of November, the issue of water has become hot topic. Even Howard is also being blamed for not approving the Kyoto Protocol.
Most of the days were hot and cloudless. If this kind of pattern continues till summer, life will be a bit difficult. Hopefully the rain will come....
