Bismillahir'rahman'nir-rahim.Asalamualaikum wa rahmatullah
The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box. There are 5 things you need to know, he told the pencil, before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be:
One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be guided by Someone's hand.
Say: "If ye do love Allah follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful."
Say: "Obey Allah and His Apostle"; but if they turn back Allah loveth not those who reject Faith. (3 :31&32)
O those who believe, obey Allâh and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. (4:59)
Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil.
Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil) but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. (2:155)
And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle). (47:31)
Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.
Allah accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in mercy; for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. (4:17)
But without doubt I am (also) He that forgives again and again to those who repent believe and do right who in fine are ready to receive true guidance." (20:82)
Four: The most important part of you will always be what's inside.
Sahih Muslim Hadith 98 Narrated byTamim ad-Dari The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) observed: Ad-Din is a name of sincerity and well-wishing. Upon this we said: For whom? He replied: for Allah, His Book, His messenger and for the leaders and the general Muslims.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 228 Narrated byAbdullah ibn Mas'udAllah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: There are three things on account of which no rancour enters a Muslim heart: the sincerity of purpose for Allah's sake, seeking goodness for the Muslims and adhering to their main body (jama'ah), for their prayers encompass them all round.
Five: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.
How many of the Prophets fought (in Allah's way) and with them (fought) large bands of godly men? But they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah's way nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. And Allah loves those who are firm and steadfast. (3:146)
The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.
When thy Lord drew forth from the children of Adam from their loins their descendants and made them testify concerning themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?" They said: "Yea! We do testify!" (This) lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "of this we were never mindful." (7:172)
Now put your self in the place of the pencil. Always remember these five things and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.
Those who listen to the Word and follow the best (meaning) in it: those are the ones whom Allah has guided and those are the ones endued with understanding (39:18)
Those who believe and work righteous deeds from them shall We blot out all evil (that may be) in them and We shall reward them according to the best of their deeds (29:7)
